If you’re a regular reader of Mojo Evolution, you will have noticed that I’ve been away for a long time. After enjoying some flyfishing on Iceland (see picture) and the rainy summer in Norway. But now  I’m back. Among the stuff I’m working on is a review of the Samsung Omnia HD aka. i8910. Samsung have lent me a phone and I’m currently recording video and still images to test what it can do for you as a journalist. Hope to have the review out in a couple of days.

It seems like in my eager to fight spam I have turned the screw a couple of notches to much. I was so happy when all of that spam just disappeared and I didn’t had to think about it. It seems like a lot of comments also was eaten by my spam fighting tool. I found a couple when I went through some pending comments today. Older comments have probably been thrown away and can’t be rescued. I’m terrible sorry. I’ll improve my routines to avoid loosing comments. If you have posted a comment and it disappeared, please try again.

Because of a glitch in the translator plugin, I have to re-cache all the translated pages. Since Google Translator puts a limit on how often you can use the translator engine, it will take some time before all the pages are up again.  I’m using the plugin called Global Translator.

You should also be aware of that if you prefer to bookmark one of my translated pages, you might not get the latest post immediately beacuse of the limited use of the Google translator.

As you may understand, I’m spending some time testisting out new plug-ins and other widgets for my Wordpress powered site. This time it’s a live traffic feed from FEEDJIT. The service try to identify your location based on your IP-range. I’ve put it all open, so you can follow the users yourself.

As you can see on the top right of my site I have put up a translator. The site can now be translated into 33 languages. As always, the Google translator makes it readable, but not much more. Since my native language is Norwegian,  I guess these blog posts aren’t poetic in the beginning. If it comes out as totally gibberish in your language -  leave a message and I’ll remove the widget. It could also be that this service is slowing the site down because of all the caching. I’ll give it a go for a couple of weeks.
